Diabetes Education
The Diabetes Program at St. Vincent’s East is heavily involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and support of diabetes patients. If not treated properly, diabetes can lead to serious problems such as heart disease, stroke, nerve damage, and even death. Because of the risks associated with diabetes, one of the primary goals of the diabetes program at St. Vincent’s East is to educate patients about how to live and function normally with the disease.

Ways you can contribute:
$50 will sponsor one diabetes education class
$30 will sponsor one diabetes support group meeting
